LA COSTA

Indented coastline, 13 km long. Along the shoreline you’ll find amazing sandy beaches. There are many berths ceded to shipyards such as Penta Levante and Lega Navale Italiana. Section of Monopoli, tel. Number 080/9301341. A free access berth, situated within the harbour, is called cala batteria. Swimming is not recommended within the harbour. There can be considerable boat traffic which makes swimming difficult and sometimes unpleasant.

Moreover, Monopoli offers a great number of bathing establishments: S.Stefano (contrada Santo Stefano), Lido Pantano, Lido sabbia D’oro, Torre Cintola, Porto Giardino, Torre Egnatia, Le Macchie, Baia del Sol.
